Registration open for the workshop “From Data to Action: Urban Health in a Changing World”

Next June 12th Barcelona will hold the Workshop “From Data to Action: Urban Health in a Changing World”. During the event, the urban health managing will be addressed to understand how our cities are designed and managed. One of the challenges is working and transforming the data to useful information with the aim to facilitate more efficient public policies.
“From Data to Action” is a workshop which will reunite experts in public health, urban plan, technology and research in order to explore how the data science can guide us to healthier, and more resilient and sustainable cities. Among all the issues to be discussed, we highlight:
- How urban mobility patterns affect population health.
- The role of emerging technologies: cloud computing, AI, and predictive modelling.
- Integrating air quality, epidemiological, and behavioural data for better prevention.
- Addressing climate-related health risks through data-informed planning.
- Fighting misinformation with transparency and effective communication.
